SCHEDULE(Sections 2 and 4)

PART IAirport Reference Point

COMMENCING at the intersection of the runways designated 16L-34R and 07-25, THENCE, easterly along the centre line of runway designated 07-25 for a distance of seventeen hundred (1,700) feet, THENCE, northerly perpendicular to the centre line a distance of two hundred and fifty (250) feet to a point, being the airport reference point.

PART IIDescription of Outer Limits of Land

COMMENCING at the southwest corner of the southeast quarter of Section one (1), Township twenty-five (25), Range four (4), west of the Fifth Meridian in the Province of Alberta; THENCE, northerly along the western boundaries of the east halves of Sections one (1) and twelve (12) to the northwest corner of the northeast quarter of the said Section twelve (12); THENCE, easterly along the northern boundary of the said northeast quarter and its production across the road allowance to the northwest corner of Section seven (7), Township twenty-five (25), Range three (3), West of the Fifth Meridian; THENCE, northerly along the western boundary of the southwest quarter of Section eighteen (18) and its production across the road allowance to intersect the southern limit of right-of-way plan 4851 J.K.; THENCE, easterly along the said southern limit of said plan 4851 J.K. to intersect the western boundary of the east half of the said Section eighteen (18); THENCE, northerly along the western boundary of the said east half and its production across the said right-of-way plan 4851 J.K. to the northwest corner of the northeast quarter of said Section eighteen (18); THENCE, easterly along the northern boundary of the said quarter section and its production across the road allowance to the southwest corner of Section twenty (20); THENCE, northerly along the western boundary of the southwest quarter of the said Section to the northwest corner of said quarter; THENCE, easterly along the northern boundaries of the south halves of Sections twenty (20) and twenty-one (21) and their productions across the road allowance to the northeast corner of the southeast quarter of the said Section twenty-one (21); THENCE, southeasterly along the northeasterly limit of said lot and its production to intersect the southern limit of right-of-way plan 4851 J.K.; THENCE, easterly along the said southern limit of said right-of-way and its production across Plan 7410370 to the intersection of said southern limit with the eastern boundary of the southwest quarter of section fourteen (14); THENCE, southerly along the eastern boundaries of the said southwest quarter fourteen (14) and the west halves of Sections eleven (11) and two (2) of said township and range and the east boundary of the west half of Section thirty-five (35), Township twenty-four (24), Range three (3), West of the Fifth Meridian, and their production across road allowances intersecting the northern limit of road plan 3461 J.K.; THENCE, westerly along the northern limit of said road plan and its production across the road allowance to intersect the eastern boundary of the southeast quarter of Section thirty-four (34); THENCE, southerly along the Eastern boundary of the northeast quarter of Section twenty-seven (27) and its production across said road plan 3461 J.K. to the southeast corner of said quarter section; thence westerly along the southern boundary of said northeast quarter section to the southwest corner thereof; THENCE, southerly along the eastern limits of lots thirteen (13) and five (5) and their production across the road as said lots and road are shown on plan 731549 to the southern limit of said plan; THENCE, southerly along the eastern boundary of the southwest quarter of said Section twenty-seven (27) to the southeast corner of said quarter; THENCE, westerly along the southern boundaries of the said southwest quarter of said Section twenty-seven (27) and the south halves of Sections twenty-eight (28) and twenty-nine (29) and their productions across road allowances to the southwest corner of the southwest quarter of said Section twenty-nine (29); THENCE, northerly along the western boundary of the said southwest quarter to the northwest corner thereof; THENCE, westerly along the southern boundary of the north half of Section thirty (30) and its production across the road allowance to the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of said Section thirty (30); THENCE, northerly along the western boundary of the said northwest quarter to the northwest corner thereof; thence westerly along the southern boundary of the southeast quarter of Section thirty-six (36), Township twenty-four (24), Range four (4), West of the Fifth Meridian and its production across the road allowance to the southwest corner of said southeast quarter; THENCE, northerly along the western boundary of the east half of said Section thirty-six (36) and its production across the road allowance to the point of commencement.

PART IIIDescription of Approach Surfaces

Approach surfaces are surfaces abutting each end of the strips associated with the runways designated 16L-34R, 16R-34L and 07-25 and more particularly described as follows:

  • (a) a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 34R consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of one (1) foot measured vertically to fifty (50) feet measured horizontally rising to an imaginary horizontal line drawn at right angles to the projected centre line of the strip, one thousand (1,000) feet measured vertically above the elevation at the end of the strip and fifty thousand (50,000) feet measured horizontally from the end of the strip, the outer ends of the imaginary horizontal line being eight thousand (8,000) feet from the projected centre line, excepting thereout all that portion of the said surface contained within the vertical projections of the boundaries of the Sarcee Indian Reserve No. 145,

  • (b) a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 34L consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of one (1) foot measured vertically to forty (40) feet measured horizontally rising to an imaginary horizontal line drawn at right angles to the projected centre line of the strip, two hundred and seven and five tenths (207.5) feet measured vertically above the elevation at the end of the strip and eight thousand three hundred (8,300) feet measured horizontally from the end of the strip, the outer ends of the imaginary horizontal line being nine hundred and eighty (980) feet from the projected centre line,

  • (c) a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 16L consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of one (1) foot measured vertically to fifty (50) feet measured horizontally rising to an imaginary horizontal line drawn at right angles to the projected centre line of the strip, one thousand (1,000) feet measured vertically above the elevation at the end of the strip and fifty thousand (50,000) feet measured horizontally from the end of the strip, the outer ends of the imaginary horizontal line being eight thousand (8,000) feet from the projected centre line,

  • (d) a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 16R consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of one (1) foot measured vertically to forty (40) feet measured horizontally rising to an imaginary horizontal line drawn at right angles to the projected centre line of the strip, two hundred and seven and five tenths (207.5) feet measured vertically above the elevation at the end of the strip and eight thousand three hundred (8,300) feet measured horizontally from the end of the strip, the outer ends of the imaginary horizontal line being nine hundred and eighty (980) feet from the projected centre line,

  • (e) a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 07 consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of one (1) foot measured vertically to forty (40) feet measured horizontally rising to an imaginary horizontal line drawn at right angles to the projected centre line of the strip, two hundred and seven and five tenths (207.5) feet measured vertically above the elevation at the end of the strip, and eight thousand three hundred (8,300) feet measured horizontally from the end of the strip, the outer ends of the imaginary horizontal line being nine hundred and eighty (980) feet from the projected centre line, and

  • (f) a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 25 consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of one (1) foot measured vertically to forty (40) feet measured horizontally rising to an imaginary horizontal line drawn at right angles to the projected centre line of the strip, two hundred and seven and five tenths (207.5) feet measured vertically above the elevation at the end of the strip and eight thousand three hundred (8,300) feet measured horizontally from the end of the strip, the outer ends of the imaginary horizontal line being nine hundred and eighty (980) feet from the projected centre line,

which approach surfaces are shown on Department of Public Works Plan No. E.1202, dated January 8, 1976, as revised on May 19, 1981.

PART IVDescription of the Outer Surface

The outer surface is an imaginary surface consisting of

  • (a) a common plane established at a constant elevation of one hundred and fifty (150) feet above the assigned elevation of the airport reference point, and

  • (b) where the common plane described in paragraph (a) is less than thirty (30) feet above the surface of the ground, an imaginary surface located thirty (30) feet above the surface on the ground,

which outer surface is shown on Department of Public Works Plan No. E.1202, dated January 8, 1976, as revised on May 19, 1981.

PART VDescription of Strips

Each strip is described as follows:

  • (a) the strip associated with the runway designated as 16L-34R is one thousand (1,000) feet in width, five hundred (500) feet being on each side of the centre line of the runway and five thousand four hundred (5,400) feet in length,

  • (b) the strip associated with runway 16R-34L is three hundred (300) feet in width, one hundred and fifty (150) feet on each side of the centre line of the runway and four thousand four hundred (4,400) feet in length, and

  • (c) the strip associated with runway 07-25 is three hundred (300) feet in width, one hundred and fifty (150) feet on each side of the centre line of the runway and three thousand eight hundred (3,800) feet in length,

which strips are shown on Department of Public Works Plan No. E.1202, dated January 8, 1976, as revised on May 19, 1981.

PART VIDescription of Transitional Surfaces

  • 1 Transitional surfaces are shown on Department of Public Works Plan No. E.1202, dated January 8, 1976, as revised on May 19, 1981, and are described as follows:

    • (a) transitional surfaces associated with runway 16L-34R being a surface consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of one (1) foot measured vertically to seven (7) feet measured horizontally at right angles to the centre line and centre line produced of the strip and extending upward from the lateral limits of the strip and its approach surfaces to an intersection with the outer surface or another transitional surface of an adjoining strip; and

    • (b) transitional surfaces associated with runways 16R-34L and 07-25 being a surface consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of one (1) foot measured vertically to five (5) feet measured horizontally at right angles to the centre line and centre line produced of the strip and extending upward from the lateral limits of the strip and its approach surfaces to an intersection with the outer surface or another transitional surface of an adjoining strip.
