His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 5 of the Extractive Sector Transparency Measures ActFootnote a, designates the Minister of Natural Resources, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, to be the Minister for the purpose of that Act.
