Regulations Respecting the Stabilization of the Price of Industrial Milk and Industrial Cream Delivered for Marketing During the Period Beginning on April 1, 1984 and Ending on March 31, 1985

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture, pursuant to sections 8.2, 10 and 11 of the Agricultural Stabilization ActFootnote *, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations respecting the stabilization of the price of industrial milk and industrial cream delivered for marketing during the period beginning on April 1, 1984 and ending on March 31, 1985.

Short Title

 These Regulations may be cited as the Industrial Milk and Cream Stabilization 1984-85 Regulations.

Interpretation

 In these Regulations,

producer

producer means a person who resides in Canada and produces industrial milk or industrial cream. (producteur)

Prescribed Price

 The prescribed price for industrial milk and industrial cream for the period beginning on April 1, 1984 and ending on March 31, 1985 is the amount obtained by adjusting 116.04 per cent of the base price thereof by the index applicable thereto calculated in the manner set out in the Production Cost Index Regulations.

Payment to Producers

 The Board may pay $320,900,000 to the Canadian Dairy Commission for the benefit of producers for the purpose of stabilizing the price of industrial milk and industrial cream at the prescribed price for industrial milk and industrial cream marketed during the 12-month period beginning on April 1, 1984 and ending on March 31, 1985.
