His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Communications and the Treasury Board, pursuant to paragraph 13(b) of the Financial Administration Act, is pleased hereby(a)to revoke the Radio Apparatus Testing Fees Regulations made by Order in Council P.C. 1962-1180 of 22nd August, 1962, with effect from August 1, 1979; and(b)to authorize the Minister of Communications, by regulation, to prescribe fees to be paid by persons to whom is provided by the Department of Communications a service for the technical assessment, testing or certification of telecommunications apparatus.
