Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, pursuant to paragraph 5(a) of the Canada Strategic Infrastructure Fund Acta, hereby makes the annexed Regulations Prescribing Capital Assets for the Purpose of the Definition Strategic Infrastructure in the Canada Strategic Infrastructure Fund Act.aS.C. 2002, c. 9, s. 47Capital Assets

1The following are prescribed as other fixed capital assets for the purpose of paragraph (f) of the definition strategic infrastructure in section 2 of the Canada Strategic Infrastructure Fund Act:(a)advanced telecommunications and high-speed broadband infrastructure; and(b)all infrastructure situated in Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut not otherwise prescribed in paragraph (a) of this subsection or set out in any of paragraphs (a) to (e) of that definition.SOR/2004-200, s. 2

Coming into Force

2These Regulations come into force on the day they are registered.
