His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 463 and subsection 465(4) of the Cooperative Credit Associations Act*, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations permitting the use of the name of an association in a document in connection with a transaction related to securities, effective June 1, 1992.S.C. 1991, c. 48Short TitleThese Regulations may be cited as the Name Use (Cooperative Credit Association) Regulations.Permitted Use of NameA person may use the name of an association in a prospectus, an offering memorandum, a takeover bid circular, an advertisement for a transaction related to securities or in any other document in connection with a transaction related to securities where the use is required by law or the association has given its express written permission for the use.
