Marginal note:Designation — investigators

• 28 (1) The Minister may designate as an investigator any person or class of persons for the purpose of enforcing section 27.

• Marginal note:Authorization

  (2) The Minister may authorize the Commissioner to designate as an investigator any employee or class of employees of the Agency for the purpose of enforcing section 27.

Marginal note:Limitation period

29 Proceedings in respect of an offence under this Act may be instituted at any time within, but not later than, five years after the day on which the Minister becomes aware of the subject matter of the prosecution.

Marginal note:Sunset provision

30 Despite any other provision of this Act, a payment out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund must not be made under this Act after the fifth anniversary of the day on which this Act comes into force.
