Territorial Lands Act

Marginal note:Reservation

 Unless otherwise ordered by the Governor in Council, a strip of land one hundred feet in width, measured from ordinary high water mark or from the boundary line, as the case may be, shall be deemed to be reserved to the Crown out of every grant of territorial lands where the land extends

  • (a) to the sea or an inlet thereof;

  • (b) to the shore of any navigable water or an inlet thereof; or

  • (c) to the boundary line between the Yukon Territory and Alaska, or between the Yukon Territory and the Northwest Territories, or between the Northwest Territories and Nunavut or between the Yukon Territory, the Northwest Territories or Nunavut and the Province of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta or British Columbia.
