Order designating the Department of (1) Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development; (2) Canadian Heritage; and (3) Industry to provide support to the Minister of La Francophonie

P.C. 2018-1006 2018-07-18

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to subsection 5(3)Footnote a of the Salaries ActFootnote b,

  • (a) designates the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development to provide support to the Minister of La Francophonie in the carrying out of the responsibilities of that Minister which are related to La Francophonie;

  • (b) designates the Department of Canadian Heritage to provide support to the Minister of La Francophonie in the carrying out of the responsibilities of that Minister which are related to official languages; and

  • (c) designates the Department of Industry to provide support to the Minister of La Francophonie in the carrying out of all of the other responsibilities of that Minister.
