Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to the definition Designated Minister in section 2 of the Business Development Bank of Canada ActFootnote ^a, and pursuant to paragraph (d) of the definition appropriate Minister in section 2 of the Financial Administration ActFootnote ^b and subparagraph (a)(ii) of the definition appropriate Minister in subsection 83(1) of the Financial Administration ActFootnote ^b,

• (a) repeals Order in Council P.C. 2018-1020 of July 18, 2018Footnote ^c;

• (b) designates the Minister for International Trade, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the Designated Minister for the purposes of the Business Development Bank of Canada ActFootnote ^a; and

• (c) designates the Minister for International Trade, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the appropriate Minister with respect to the Business Development Bank of Canada for the purposes of the Financial Administration ActFootnote ^b.
