National Parks Wilderness Area Declaration Regulations

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to subsection 5(8)Footnote a of the National Parks Act, hereby makes the annexed National Parks Wilderness Area Declaration Regulations.

Wilderness Areas

 The regions shown on the administrative map plans, the numbers of which are set out in column 2 of an item of the schedule, that exist in a natural state or that are capable of returning to a natural state are declared to be wilderness areas within the national park set out in column 1 of that item.

Coming into Force

 These Regulations come into force on the day on which they are registered.
