Version of section 34 from 2008-01-01 to 2018-10-22:
34 (1) No person shall sport fish during the period between sunset and sunrise.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a person who is
(a) angling, except in the waters of Eagle Lake (49º42′ N, 93º13′ W);
(b) fishing by means of a baitfish trap;
(c) fishing for smelt by means of a dip net or seine net; or
(d) fishing for lake herring or lake whitefish by means of a dip net.
