8.2 Every person granted access to the work place who is exposed to a health or safety hazard in a work place shall use the protection equipment prescribed by this Part, if

• (a) it is not feasible to eliminate that hazard or to control it within safe limits, and

• (b) the use of protection equipment may prevent or reduce injury from that hazard.
