Manitoba Fishery Regulations, 1987
Version of section 16 from 2006-03-22 to 2008-09-04:
16 (1) No person shall possess live fish or live fish eggs unless authorized
(a) under the Fisheries Act (Manitoba);
(b) by a Live Fish Handling Permit; or
(c) by a salmonid permit issued under the Fish Health Protection Regulations.
(2) No person shall bring into Manitoba, possess in Manitoba or release into any waters of Manitoba fish eggs or live fish of a species set out in Schedule IX.
(3) No person shall bring into Manitoba for use as bait any live fish, crayfish, leeches or salamanders other than under the authority of a Live Fish Handling Permit.
