Regulations Respecting the Stabilization of the Price of Barley for the 1987 Period

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and the Treasury Board, pursuant to sections 10Footnote *, 12Footnote ** and 14 of the Agricultural Stabilization Act, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations respecting the stabilization of the price of barley for the 1987 period.

Short Title
1 These Regulations may be cited as the Barley 1987 Period Stabilization Regulations.
Interpretation
2 In these Regulations,
- Act
Act means the Agricultural Stabilization Act; (Loi)
- period
period means the period beginning on August 1 of any year and ending on July 30 of the following year. (période)
Prescribed Percentage
3 For the purpose of determining the prescribed price of barley for the 1987 period, the percentage of the base price of barley is hereby prescribed to be 100 per cent.
Payment
4 Payments pursuant to section 12(1)(c) of the Act shall be made by the Board directly to producers or to a producer, government or organization of a province, for the benefit of producers in that province, as the Board may determine.
