Order Authorizing the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development to Act as Federal Interlocutor for Métis and Non-status Indians

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby
(a) terminates the authorization given by Order in Council P.C. 2003-2092 of December 12, 2003, and
(b) authorizes the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development to act as Federal Interlocutor for Métis and Non-status Indians and to enter into contribution agreements with organizations representing Métis and off-reserve Aboriginal peoples,
effective July 20, 2004.
