Order Designating the Minister of Western Economic Diversification as Minister for Purposes of the Act, Except Section 3 in Relation to the Western Provinces

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to the definition "Minister" in section 2 of the Industrial and Regional Development Act, is pleased hereby to amend Order in Council P.C. 1987-1155 of June 5, 1987, as amended by P.C. 1987-1616 of August 4, 1987, by revoking paragraph (c) thereof and substituting the following therefor:
“(c) the Minister of Western Economic Diversification, a member of the Queen's Privy Council for Canada, as the Minister for the purposes of that Act, except section 3 thereof, in relation to the Provinces of Manitoba, British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan with respect to grants, contributions, loans and guarantees in those Provinces that are made in relation to a project the eligible capital costs of which do not exceed twenty million dollars.”
