Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 115 of the Customs TariffFootnote a, hereby makes the annexed “MV Sonia” Remission Order, 2007.

Remission
1 Remission is granted to British Columbia Ferry Services Inc., Victoria, British Columbia, in the amount representing the customs duties paid or payable under the Customs Tariff in respect of the “MV Sonia” imported into Canada for ferry service in coastal British Columbia.
Conditions
2 The remission is granted on the conditions that:
(a) the importer files such evidence as may be required by the Canada Border Services Agency to determine eligibility for remission; and
(b) a claim for remission is made by the importer to the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness within two years after the day on which this Order comes into force.
Coming into Force
3 This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
