Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to subsection 83.32(2)Footnote a of the Criminal Code, hereby makes the annexed Order Establishing the Text of a Resolution Providing for the Extension of the Application of Sections 83.28, 83.29 and 83.3 of the Criminal Code.

Resolution
1 For the purposes of subsection 83.32(2) of the Criminal Code, the text of the resolution set out in the schedule is established.
Coming into Force
2 This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
SCHEDULE(Section 1)Resolution by Both Houses of Parliament Extending the Application of Sections 83.28, 83.29 and 83.3 of the Criminal Code
1 That pursuant to subsection 83.32(1) of the Criminal Code, the application of sections 83.28, 83.29 and 83.3 of that Act be extended for a period of three years from the first day on which this resolution is passed by both Houses of Parliament.
2 That this Resolution come into force on the day on which it has been passed by both Houses of Parliament.
